Summer Plans
We are gearing up for summer and planting this weekend! We’re mostly done all of the prep work, and I love being out in my garden! It takes a considerable amount of my summer time.
This week we made a list with our kids about what things they wanted to do during the summer! We have a few trips planned, but the theme was mostly on outdoor activities and swimming. We are counting down the days until our neighborhood pool opens!
What do you look forward to doing this summer? I’d love to know! In a couple of weeks, I will tell you about my current work in progress :).
Until then, here are a few books that are on my must-read list! Enjoy!

Have you been enjoying the My Heart Channel Romances as much as I have! The next book is out, and I’m so excited for it!
A passionate crusader, a gentleman lumberjack…can they move past grief and deception to find love?
Kenzie Vega puts her whole heart into everything she does, from fundraising for a cancer cure to her love of the outdoors. She’s especially passionate about forests, and even produces a MyHeartChannel show encouraging viewers to immerse themselves in nature. But while Kenzie’s days are filled with people, her private life is the opposite, and she’s actually very much alone.
A second-generation logger, Peter Olson believes in sustainable harvests while he makes his living cutting down trees. However, he keeps his profession a secret from the fascinating woman in his hiking club. Past experience has taught him that people who love the outdoors get upset about trees coming down, and he doesn’t want to blow the relationship before it has a chance to grow. But when he realizes that Kenzie’s favorite forest is slated for clear-cutting, his fear of losing her overshadows his good judgement.
As Kenzie struggles to save a memory of her mother, will she learn to risk giving someone new a place in her heart?

Do you remember your first love? Have you ever wondered what would happen if you had a second chance to follow your heart?
When Laney Richins left Echo Ridge, New York eight years ago, she vowed she’d never return, but life had other plans. Those plans included her cute little boy and a divorce, so Laney moved back home and started over. Working in the flower shop seems like the perfect plan until Billy Redford, the man she should have married shows up.
Billy Redford’s heart was broken when his high school sweetheart turned her back on him and fled Echo Ridge for the big city lights. Running into Laney in Echo Ridge now brings up past feelings he thought were long gone. She’s prettier than ever, still seems to read his mind, and despite his protests ends up on the building and decorating committee with him for the Homecoming dance. Billy knows how to build just about anything, but he isn’t sure he knows how to mend a broken heart.
