This year has been a little different on our celebrating! Normally by now we’ve done pumpkin carving and decorated the house. We usually have a couple of Halloween parties to attend, and by now our kids’ costumes have been worn at least half a dozen times during the month.

We just got back from a family vacation in Maui. I didn’t want extra produce rotting inside or outside, so we skipped pumpkins this year (though maybe we’ll go grab one from the store and do a quick carving tonight!). The Halloween parties happened while we were out of town, and the costumes… Well, some of them still had their tags on from the store as of this morning! 🙂

Today the kids all have parties at school and a costume parade. We’ll go Trick-or-Treating, and yesterday I bought more candy to give out… So, hopefully by the end of the day the kids will have gotten their Halloween candy fill and not realize just how much I didn’t do this year ;).

BUT… Kids shouldn’t be the only ones enjoying the treats, right?! And I’m not talking about rummaging through their bags and pillowcases to find your favorites 🙂 ha ha!
